Sprite Doctor analyzes every cell in your sprite sheet and helps identify technical problems that can cause jittery or inconsistent animations. It checks sprite alignment, ground-anchor consistency, occupied and empty frames, cell boundaries, clipping risks and animation-row consistency.
Normal pose changes are treated separately so they are not automatically marked as errors or changed by the repair system.
When Sprite Doctor finds a problem that can be repaired safely, it can suggest a correction and apply it directly in your browser. The repaired frame is analyzed again before export to verify that the fix actually improved the sprite sheet.
Your sprite sheets are processed locally in your browser. Images are not uploaded to our server. Sprite Doctor is free to use and requires no account or sign-up.
Sprite Doctor is built for indie game developers, pixel artists and anyone working with character animations or sprite sheets for games. Use it to inspect assets before importing them into engines and frameworks such as Unity, Godot, Phaser or your own game project.
